The perfect Marina I: The Octagon lighthouse. Il porticciolo perfetto I: il faro ottagonale

 

A forest covered coast, silent sail boats, well designed piers, and a relaxed and elegant small crowd complete my idea of the perfect Marina, where the Ligthouse emerge tall on the cliff. The symbol of my hometown is a lighthouse and a lighthouse ( the Tower of Alexandria in Egypt ) is one of the 7 marvels of the ancient world, so I pay homage to this useful buildings with this lantern.

Una costa coperta di foreste, delle silenziose barche a vela, dei moli ben disegnati, una rilassata ed elegante piccola folla completano la mia idea di un perfetto porticciolo, dove il faro emerge alto sulla collina. Il simbolo della mia città natale è un faro ed un faro ( la torre di Alessandria d’ Egitto ) è una delle 7 meraviglie del mondo antico, così rendo omaggio a questi utili edifici con questa lanterna.

To be sure the lines on the panel walls are aligned put first the entrance one as it  is impossible for it to mistake the top and the bottom sides . Per essere certi che le linee dei pannelli siano allineate mettete per primo quello dell'ingresso per il quale è impossibile scambiare lato superiore ed inferiore.

For the lower portion once all the tower is closed to glue it better a small tool can be an help. Per incollare la parte inferiore , incollata per ultima quando il resto è chiuso, può essere d'aiuto un piccolo attrezzo.

I added a floor for  the room on top to cover the tabs and to provide a lighter color to enhance the light inside, very useful if you decided for a dark colour walls. Ho previsto un pavimento per la stanza della lampada, per coprire le linguette di costruzione e per dare la possibilità di usare un colore chiaro per aumentare la luminosità , particolarmente utile se si è deciso di fare i muri di colore scuro.

All the octagonal holes from ground to top help to glue all the pieces aligned, I suggest to put the string light before closing the lighthouse on top so it will be easier to pull the led for the lamp room. Tutti i buchi ottagonali dal piano terra alla cima aiutano a incollare i pezzi allineati, consiglio di inserire le lucine prima di chiudere la stanza della lampada in cima così sarà più facile fare sporgere i led  per il faro.
