The inspiration for this Easter themed chocolates box comes from the memories of a neighbouring farm close to our summer house in our childhood. So this year the Easter Bunny gives way to the hens, sitting quietely guarding eggs and chicks.

L'ispirazione per questa scatola per le uova di cioccolato spunta dal ricordo di una fattoria vicina alla nostra casa di vacanza ai tempi della nostra infanzia. Così quest'anno il Coniglio Pasquale lascia spazio alle galline che placidamente sedute tengono d'occhio uova e pulcini.

Build it is very easy, just remember to glue the hen only on the rims so to leave the wings free to “fly”and also do not glue the roof to the house or you will not be able to open the box.

Included in the file is a shape to cut in transparent acetate to close the house opening to use the box for smaller chocolates and 3 different foots to accommodate several dimension of choco eggs .

Potete scaricarla usando uno dei links  a seguire. E' nei formati SVG, Studio e PDF.  Costruirla è davvero facile, solo ricordate di non incollare tutta la gallina, ma di lasciarle le ali libre di “volare”e anche di non incollare il tetto alla casa o non potrete aprire la vostra scatola!

Nel file ci sono una forma da tagliare in acetato per chiudere l'ingresso del pollaio se si vuole usare la scatola per ovetti di cioccolata piccoli e tre diverse basi per uova di cioccolato di diverse misure.

A box for Easter. Una scatola per Pasqua

If somebody needs an excuse to eat more chocolate than necessary or advised Easter can be considered the best one.

This year we promised ourselves to do not indulge too much...just much! To divert the attention from chocolate we concentrated on the beauty of its presentation... somebody says that Beauty will save the world so lets see how she performs against chocolate !!!

Se a qualcuno serve una scusa per mangiare più cioccolata di quanto sia necessario o consigliabile Pasqua può essere considerata la migliore!

Quest'anno ci siamo ripromessi di non esagerare troppo, solo di esagerare...Per spostare l'attenzione dal cioccolato abbiamo pensato di concentrarci sulla sua presentazione...Qualcuno ha detto che la Bellezza salverà il mondo, intanto vediamo come se la cava contro il cioccolato !!

We are very happy to post as gift the files for this Christmas inspired box . . The one we cut for ourselves has touches of “diamonds” and “pearls” to embellish it. If you like there is a layer to cut in thinner paper to finish  the inside.

Siamo molto felici di postare in regalo questi files della nostra scatola natalizia. Quella che abbiamo tagliato per noi la abbiamo ulteriormente arricchita con qualche tocco di “diamanti” e “perle”. Volendo c'è un layer da tagliare in carta più leggera per rifinire l'interno.

The box measures 8,5 cm by 8,5 cm  by 7 cm (h) circa.

When we draw one of our projects at the very start it is pure geometry, but very soon we imagine it with a colour scheme.

Sometimes we have so many ideas that it is hard to decide which will be the verion to make to publish on the blog and so we are very curios and enthusiast to see how the creativity of somebody else can change our design.

In this post we publish, with her permission, some photos of the interpretations that a super creative and super nice friend from the States, Mary Trevantino, has done with some of our files, giving them her personal touch.

It is a great satisfaction for a designer to see that your work is appreciated and so well “put at work”with taste and added creativity by people that shares our passion and enthusiasm.

Quando disegniamo uno dei nostri progetti all'inizio si tratta di pura geometria, ma molto presto si riveste di uno schema cromatico.

Talvolta le idee sono talmente tante che è difficile scegliere quale sia la versione più bella da realizzare per fotografarla nel blog, così ci piace avere l'opportunità di vedere come la creatività di qualcun altro può cambiare il nostro progetto.

In questo post pubblichiamo, con il suo permesso, le fotografie dell'interpretazione che una super creativa e super gentile amica dagli Stati Uniti, Mary Trevantino, ha fatto con alcuni dei nostri files, dando loro un tocco personale.

This year we thought to give away as a gift the studio and pdf files of a Christmas lantern tree decoration. You can fill it with few chocolates and in its base you can insert a led tea light. 

Quest'anno abbiamo pensato di regalare i files di una lanterna decorazione per l'albero, sia in formato studio che in pdf. Ci si possono mettere alcuni cioccolatini e nella sua base può essere inserita una led tea light.

The making of the Easter Bunny house. Il “making of” della casa del coniglietto di Pasqua.

Every project starts with a lot of free hand drawings…

Ogni progetto inizia con una serie di disegni a mano libera…

and the object gets a shape little by little.

e l’oggetto prende forma pian piano.

Il fondo della scatola è sagomato per permettere l’apertura delle porte…non si sa mai il coniglio non volesse uscire dal tetto!

The bottom of the box is cut to let free the doors openings, just in case the rabbit does not like the roof exit!

The fields around the house are decorated with fences and the edges to display the chocolate eggs help to cover the joints of the outer ring.

I campi intorno alla casa sono abbelliti da steccati e le “siepi” porta ovetti di cioccolato aiutano a coprire i punti di unione dell’anello esterno.

Rabbits decorate the banner and the tag where, on reverse, we can write the name of the lucky friend that is going to receive our gift!

I conigli decorano il banner augurale e anche la tag sul cui retro si può scrivere il nome del fortunato cui  va il nostro regalo !
