ZIGTAC: The Jingle Bells Village 14, the house of the botanical artist. La casa dell'artista botanico

The 14^th pair of houses in our Jingle bells village is dedicated to the Botanical Art. A botanical painter spends hours to study the plants he wants to draw or paint and he must do it with a scientific precision that has still to remain beautiful and inspiring. The verses of the poet “beauty is truth and truth beauty” could be the botanical artist’s motto. So I imagined a house surrounded by conservatories and with an Iris, that is my favourite flower, sign at the corner.

The companion house is very elegant and classy.

Il quattordicesimo “capitolo”del nostro villaggio è dedicato all’arte botanica. I pittori botanici passano molto tempo a studiare le piante che dovranno disegnare e dipingere in modo che siano scientificamente esatte e anche esteticamente piacevoli. Il poeta che scriveva “ Verità è Bellezza e Bellezza Verità “ aveva capito tutto della pittura botanica...Quindi ho immaginato la casa di questo artista circondata da serre e con un insegna con l’iris, che è il mio fiore preferito, sull’angolo.

La casa che le è compagna è molto elegante e signorile.

The pieces for the facade. I pezzi della facciata

The door of the house must be inserted with the usual sistem to the greenhouse wall and then once the green house is completely finished will find its place in the loose opening in the house facade. The pine cone portal must be inserted instead in the decorative panel on the fron and attached as last piece to the greenhouse. Il portone viene inserito col solito sistema di incastro nella parete della serra. In seguito, costruita completamente la serra, si potrà incollarla alla casa e la porta troverà spazio nel suo alloggiamento nella facciata. Invece il portone con la pigna e i due scalini va inserito nel pannello decorativo sul fronte e attaccato alla serra solo all'ultimo .

All the folds can be done using a ruler, even if I did not use it . Tutte le piegature possono essere fatte aiutandosi con un righello, anche se io non lo ho fatto

For the little windows better use something to help, a credit card for example. Per le finestrelle meglio usare qualcosa che aiuti, anche una carta.

The doors will not be inserted in the walls as they will be glued to the greenhouses.

The slot at the base of the wall is made to let pass the string led lights that will enlighten the pond in the front conservatory, Il taglio alla base del muro è lasciato per far passare il filo delle lucine led che illuminerà la vasca dei pesci.

Fold a little back the decorative top of the windows so when in place will remain close to the wall without glue. Piegate i frontoni un po' indietro prima di inserire le finestre così resteranno attaccati al muro senza bisogno di colla

To prepare the roof the folds must be done one inward and one outward .Le piegature vanno fatte una verso l'interno e l'altra verso l'esterno

At the sides the ones for the side greenhouses. In the top center the floor for the main house, it is the only that will be removable to operate on the led tea light or on the led string lights, the two holes in its bottom face are to insert the fingers to open the house. At the center below is the floor for the front Greenhouse, it has a hole for the led lights for thr fish pond and on its bottom face has a long slot to operate on the string when removing the floor of the main house. Ai lati i pavimenti delle serre laterali. Al centro il pavimento della casa vera e propria che sarà l'unico a non essere incollato per restare rimovibile per operare sulla led tea ligh o sulla serie di lucine led, sulla faccia di fondo ci sono i 2 buchi per inserire le dita per procedere ad apertura e chiusura. Al centro in basso il pavimento della serra sul fronte che non sarà rimovibile , ha un foro per le lucine che illumineranno la vasca dei pesci e sulla facciata in fondo ha un taglio per permettere di sfilarle (e rimatterle) quando si rimuove il pavimento della casa per accendere e spegnere le luci

For the tiles design I used a paper 135 gm/sm. Per il disegno delle piastrelle ho usato una grammatura di 135 grammi/m2

The one of the side greenhouses I imagined two benches and a lemon tree. Per una delle serre laterali ho immaginato due panchine e un alberello di limone

All the furniture has tabs to be attached to the floor. Tutti i mobili hanno linguette per poterli attaccare al pavimento

Ready to glue the side greenhouses, must be centered on the wall. To help you to make a neat job you can count on the door and on the flower on the wall to align with the hole in the house wall. Pronti a incollare le serre laterali, vanno centrate sul muro della casa , per aiutarti a fare un lavoro pulito puoi contare sulla collocazione della porta e sull'allineamento del fiore sulla parete della serra e il buco rotondo sul muro della casa

Before closing the stucture place the opaline paper as it will be impossible later. Prima di chiudere la struttura metter la carta opalina perché sarà impossibile dopo

This door has 2 steps and must be glued back to the panel. Questa porta ha due gradini e vanno fermati sul retro al pannello con un punto di colla

Before using the glue on the piece try it on the facade so you can see where will be better put it. Prima di mettere la colla sulla loggia provatela sulla facciata per capire dove è meglio metterla

It is important to be careful to align the balcony to the building as the sloped line where the roof seat must be straight

E' importante allineare la balconata alla casa perchè sul lato la linea obliqua su cui posa il tetto deve essere continua e non fare salti.
