We have been
doing 3 D houses for a while so this time we jumped on a “real”
monumental renaissance inspired building! It does not copy any real
building , it just wants to re create the renaissance atmosphere.
Ormai è da
un po' che pensiamo casette in 3D e così questa volta abbiamo
esagerato e ci siamo buttati su un palazzo per di più monumentale e
rinascimentale. Non è la descrizione di nessun palazzo in
particolare, è solo una serie di idee, molte delle quali farebbero
rabbrividire i puristi, che ha preso forma in questa lanterna.
It is an
elegant mansion with a square with cut corners as base, a recessed
vaulted front porch , decorated facades and a roof with a skylight.
Si tratta di
un elegante palazzetto a base quadrata con gli angoli tagliati, un
portico sul fronte, un decoro a festone e il tetto abbellito da un
lucernaio.
The design
idea is to create something very elaborated looking , but easy to do
and with plenty of space for the personal touch of the maker.
Alla base di
questo progetto c'è l'idea di creare qualcosa di molto elaborato, ma
molto semplice da realizzare e molto personabilizzabile negli esiti
finali.
The facades
have 3 layers: 1 the Structure, 2 the Shade, 3 the Skin. If you do
not want to use the inbetween layer, the Shade, you can play with the
empy spaces of the Skin.
Le facciate
sono composte da tre strati : la struttura portante, l'ombra e sopra
le prime due la “pelle” della facciata. Se si decide di non
usare l'ombra si possono colorare o riempire “a collage” I
riquadri vuoti nella “pelle”.
In my opinion
the nicest part is the recessed front porch that enhances the 3d
design with its vaulted ceiling .
La mia parte
preferita è il portico sul fronte che rende la lanterna “più 3D”
con Il suo soffitto a volta .
As usual the roof is the lantern cap but this time it has a decorated skylight panel.
Il tetto come sempre è il tappo della lanterna ma questa volta è abbellito da un bel lucernaio che rende interssante la lanterna anche vista dall'alto.
