Our home town
is one of the four Maritime Republics of the Italian middle age and
all the people is very proud of our history and of our “Lanterna”.
Actually the
“Lanterna” is the lighthouse, but you cannot call it a
lighthouse because half of the people will not understand what you
are talking about, while the other half will take it as a personal
offence.
So this time
after the homage to Venice (another of the four M.R.) we cannot call
this project Lanterna because it is just a lighthouse!!
Even if a
quite cute one !
La nostra
città natale è una delle quattro Repubbliche Marinare del medioevo
italiano e tutti siamo molto orgogliosi della sua storia e della
sua Lanterna.
Di fatto la
Lanterna è il faro, ma nessuno la chiami faro perchè metà delle
persone non capirebbe di cosa si stia parlando e l'atra metà la
prenderebbe come un' offesa personale. Per cui, dopo l'omaggio a
Venezia (un'altra delle quattro repubbliche) non possiamo chiamare
questo progetto “lanterna”, perchè e solo un faro!!

These
are the pieces to build the basement Srtucture . Fold inward the walls and glue the 2 bigger pieces together
Questi
sono i pezzi per creare la struttura del basamento. Piega verso
l’interno tutte le linee di piegatura dei due pezzi più grandi e
incollali tra loro.
For
this little piece you must fold the tabs on top inward and the one
low outward. The 2 long folds : the first inward the other outward.
In
questo pezzo piccolo devi piegare le linguette in alto verso
l’interno e quella in basso verso l’esterno. Le piegatura dei due
grandi tratteggi sono da fare la prima all’interno e la seconda
all’esterno.
Glue
the base after having folded the steps and attach each step to the tabs of the wall.
Incolla
la base dopo aver piegato gli scalini e incolla ogni scalino alla
linguetta del muro.
Now
glue the last portion of the wall to close the basement, glue the
base to the tabs on the top and the strip at the bottom of the stairs
to the bottom tab.
Ora
incolla l’ultimo pezzo del muro per chiudere il basamento
incollando la base alle sue linguette in alto e la striscia in fondo
alle scale alla linguetta in basso.
The
base has a decor that can be placed last and 4 slits where insert the
tower.
La
base ha un decoro che puoi incollare anche a basamento ultimato e
quattro fessure nelle quali andrà inserito il corpo del faro.
This
is the back of the basement once glued.
Così
si presenta il retro del basamento incollato.
This
piece is for placing the batteries if you intend to use a led pin
light string.
Questo
pezzo serve per inserire le pile nel caso tu voglia far passare una
serie luminosa nel corpo del faro che illumini le finestrelle.
The

The
basement has decorative panels, the one for the portion of the wall
behind the stairs must be folded inward and then outward as is the
wall.
Per
il basamento ci sono le foderine da incollare. Quella del pezzo
interno alle scale deve essere piegata prima in dentro e poi in fuori
come il muro sul quale va incollata.
The

Così
risulta il basamento in altra combinazione di colori.
The tower is composed by an octagonal headless pyramid and another “ribbed” element that covers part of it as a sleeve.
La torre è un tronco di piramide ottagona che viene coperto come da una manica da un'altra piramide ottagona composta solo di anelli tenuti insieme da una spina dorsale.
The
body of the tower, all folds inward and glue on tabs to close.
Il
corpo del faro. Tutte le piegature vanno fatte verso l’interno.
Incolla le linguette per chiudere.
Fold
and glue the “sock” (the striped decor of the tower) and insert
in it the body of the tower paying attention to windows positions.
Piega
e incolla la “calza” (il decoro a righe del faro) e inseriscila
sul corpo del faro facendo corrispondere le finestre.
Fold
the “metal” steps and attach the safety stairs on the spine of
the sock.

The top of the tower has space for a led tea light.
In cima alla torre trova spazio una led tea light.
Glue
as in the picture the piece on the left and insert the 4 tabs in
thepiece on the right.
Incolla
come in foto il pezzo a sinistra e inserisci le quattro linguette nel
pezzo a destra.
The
railings around the lamp.
La
ringhiera da incollare attorno all’alloggiamento della lampada.
Fold
the railing inward as all the 16 tabs, glue the railing and fold the
tabs of the piece on the right that will close the bottom.
Piega
la ringhiera verso l’interno e così tutte le 16 linguette. Incolla
la ringhiera e piega le linguette del pezzo a destra che andrà a
chiudere il fondo.

Fold
and glue with light hands the torch opaline shell.
Piega
e incolla il vano della “torcia” e, con delicatezza, il vellum.
Insert the opaline torh wall in.
Inserisci
il vellum.
Fold
and glue the roof and its decor. Do not glue the light room to the tower, so you can handle the tea light.
Piega
e incolla il tetto e il suo decoro. Non incollare la loggia del faro alla torre per poter accendere e spegnere la tea light.
