In the 15th issue of
our Jingle Bells Village I included an Antique Shop. It is always
inspiring to enter in an antique shop, with all this objects from the
past. The History fascination is great in the famous museums with
their treasures, but in an antique shop the appeal is warmer, more
“homelike“. In any case our Antique shop is first class and the
“companion” house is very elegant too.
Nel
quindicesimo “capitolo” del nostro villaggio è incluso un
negozio di antiquariato. E’ sempre interssante dare un occhiata in
un negozio di antiquariato, con tutti quegli oggetti dal passato. Il
fascino della storia si fa sentire forte nei grandi musei coi loro
tesori, ma in un negozio di antiquariato l’approccio è più caldo ,
più “di casa”. Comunque il nostro Negozio di antiquariato è di prima classe e la casa
che lo accompagna è anche questa molto elegante.

Making the sign, in hammered gold, very appropriate for a reputable
antique shop. Insegna in costruzione. In oro martellato molto appropriata per un
antiquario.
Also the double wall with the columns must be aligned to the bottom.

And must come out as in this photo shot from the inside. Deve sporgere
così, come in questa foto fatta sul retro.

The other side wall with the window, all the pieces. Parete laterale
con finestra : tutti i pezzi.
Again bottom alignment! Anche qui i muri si allineano in basso

After having built the windows push back the timpanum while inserting
them in the walls slots so they will stay neatly in place. Dopo aver
costruito le finestre inseriscile spingendo indietro il timpano, per
far sì che aderiscano bene al muro.
Finished back. Retro ultimato
All the walls , the corner posts bearing the vases will be glued as
last thing . Tutti i muri. Anche le colonne con i vasi si
incolleranno come ultima cosa.
Glue the walls. For the upper part of the facade put the glue at the
back of the corner stones of the side walls, ror the lower facade the
glu must be put on the front tabs. Incolliamo i muri. La parte
superiore si incolla mettendo la colla dietro le pietre del muro
laterale e per la parte inferiore la colla va messa sulle due
linguette della facciata.
Add the other wall controlling the balance. Incolliamo anche l'altro
lato controllando l' assetto.
Close the house with the back wall. Chiudiamo la casa con il retro.
The making of the roof. La preparazione del tetto
On top the two folds to make, below the folds already glued waiting to cure. In alto le due piegature da effettuare. In basso l'altra falda del tetto già incollata in attesa di essere pronta.
On top as it is once glued. In alto come risulta una volta incollato.
Attach the roof usinf the tab we created folding the roof. Incolliamo
il tetto alla casa tramite la linguetta che abbiamo costruito nel
tetto.
Go ahead with the front. Procediamo ad incollare anche sul fronte.
Place the corner posts balanced on front and side. Posizioniamo le
colonne in modo che siano equidistanti sia dal fronte che dal lato. So they will draw and define the corners. In modo che disegnino e
rifiniscano.

Build the shop window folding the backdrop and the antiques
display. Costruiamo la vetrina piegando la tenda e decorando e
piegando la parte con gli oggetti
Glue together the backdrop and the display and then glue it to the
inside of the wall. Incolliamo il tutto nello shop dopo aver
incollato il mobile alla tenda.

Fold and build the central porch. Piega e incolla il portico
centrale.
Glue the central white stones decor and the two small windows.
Incolla il decoro di pietre bianche alla facciata e le 2 finestrelle.
Complete the blue porch with the stones trim and the small window and
build the bigger ones. Incolla il decoro di pietre bianche e la
finestrella al portico blu e costruisci le finestre
Insert the main door in the blue porch and glue it as usual. I placed
it noe, but can be placed later. Inserisci il portone nel portico blu e
incollalo come al solito. Io l'ho messo ora ma può anche essere
messo in seguito.
Glue the porch element to the facade, to center it use the little
wings at the bottom. Incolla l'elemento del portico blu alla facciata. Per
centrarlo aiutati con le due linguette in basso
Verify the balance. Verifichiamo l'assetto.
Insert the terrace door, later with the railing in place will me more
difficult. Inseriamo la porta del terrazzino : dopo aver incollato la
ringhiera sarà più complicato farlo.
Place the railing. Incolliamo la ringhiera

What you need for the side walls. Necessario per i muri laterali
Insert the windows having pushed the timpanums backward to have a
neat look when in place. Inseriamo tutte le finestre dopo aver
spostato il timpano indietro per farle aderire al muro.
Widow inside view. Finestra vista dall'interno.
Push the timpanum so the window will stay attached to the wall. Porta
indietro il timpano perché la finestra aderisca meglio al muro.

Glue the walls placing the glue at the back of the stonework corners
of the side walls . Incolliamo I muri mettendo la colla all'interno
delle pietre dei muri laterali.
Glue the base. Incolliamo la base
The making of the roof. La preparazione del tetto
Make the the two folds and glue them to make the tabs to glue the
walls to the roof slopes. Effettuiamo le due piegature e incolliamo
per formare le linguette con le quali incolleremo il tetto alla casa.
Fold the six dormer tabs. Pieghiamo le 6 linguette dell'abbaino
Also on the facade 2 tabs will help to fix the dormer . Anche sulla
facciata 2 linguette aiuteranno l'incollaggio dell'abbaino.
Roof ready to be attached to the house. Tetto pronto per essere
incollato.
The back first. Prima il retro
Then the two front parts and last the dormer. Poi le due parti del
fronte e in ultimo l'abbiano.
The base with two different choices for the lights. La base con due
possibili illuminazioni a led.
