Merry Chrismas and Happy New Year 2019

This year we want to share the happiness of the Christmas Season with our readers with the free download of a small lantern “Ice themed”. It is the first idea for a bigger project ( all still to be designed ) of a polar village with white bears and penguins joyfully at work on a gigantic Ice Plant.

Our best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. May the warm love of your friends and family protect you from any cold that winter should bring.

Quest'anno vogliamo condividere la gioia del Natale con il free download di una piccola lanterna a tema nordico. E' la prima idea di un villaggio polare (ancora tutto da progettare) in cui gli orsi bianchi ed i pinguini sono allegramente al lavoro in una gigantesca fabbrica del ghiaccio.

Tanti auguri di buon Natale e felice anno nuovo, possa l'amore degli amici e della famiglia tenervi al riparo da tutto il freddo che l'inverno potrebbe portare.

The decorative panels will have to be cut twice and you will have to be careful with the glue as they "point out" of the wall around the snow crystals.

I pannelli decorativi vanno tagliati due volte e attenti ad incollarli perchè spuntano sui lati in corrispondenza dei ghiaccioli

BUON NATALE E 

FELICE ANNO NUOVO 2019 

“Happy Easter”, 3 lanterns for Easter rabbits parties. “Buona Pasqua” , tre lanterne per coniglietti pasquali festosi.

This project is inspired by the maypoles with their colorful ribbons.. but this time only happy bunnies are gathered around it in a very festive mood.

Questo progetto è ispirato ai pali della festa con I loro nastri colorati...ma questa volta ci si sono riuniti attorno solo coniglietti festosi.

There are 3 different styles of lantern and each of them can have different color schemes and arrangements so to create a very colorful ensemble for the ( we hope) soon coming spring!

Ci sono tre design diversi di lanterne ed ognuna può essere costruita con carte colorate seguendo schemi cromatici diversi e vari per creare un insieme vivacissimo per questa primavera che ( speriamo ) sta per arrivare presto.

Every lantern is built by six sectors glued “shoulder to shoulder” to give It the rounded finished look

Ogni lanterna è costituita da 6 settori incollati “spalla a spalla “ a darle la sua forma circolare .

Houses and dogs for the tree. Case e cani per l'albero.

These Christmas tree decorations are for dogs lovers and not only.

Queste graziose decorazioni per l'albero è per gli amanti dei cani e non solo.

It is a group of 3 houses, each with a dog to supervise the Christmas preparations .

Si tratta di tre casette, ognuna con un cane a sovraintendere le operazioni di preparazione a Natale.

It is really easy to build them just insert the top half in the base half. There is space for a led tea light or for a chocolate treat, or for the usual diamond ring ;)

Costruirle è molto semplice,si montano inserendo due metà l'una nell'altra e possono ospitare una lucina a led o un cioccolatino, o anche sempre il solito anello di diamanti ;)

The house is given a richer look by the windows frames and by the proud looking dogs standing on front!!!

Poi le case sono arricchite dalle cornici delle aperture e soprattutto dai cani un po' impettiti che stazionano sul fronte !!!

Christmas String Lights dress up set. Decorazioni per le lucine dell'albero

Sometimes I feel that our projects can be considered quite elaborate so this time we decided to go for something really simple but ,I hope, yet nice to see and entertaining to make. Christmas in August is not bad, considering that my brother has just found a place where to buy just baked “Milan Panettoni” (and is having a generous slice at breakfast EVERY morning ). So here you have this Christmas String Lights dress up set !!!! 7 different shapes to beautify the most anonymous string of lights!

Qualche volta mi viene il dubbio che i nostri progetti possano essere considerati un po' elaborati così questa volta abbiamo optato per un progetto semplice semplice che però spero sia anche bello da vedere e divertente da realizzare. Natale ad Agosto non è male, visto anche che mio fratello ha appena trovato dove comperare panettoni di Milano appena sfornati (e ne sta mangiando una generosa fetta per colazione OGNI mattina). Allora ecco questo set per rivestire le serie di lucine dell'albero di Natale ! 7 forme diverse per abbellire anche la più anonima delle serie.

Falling stars 2015 Stelle cadenti 2015

We are back to our appointment with the falling stars night, and with our postcard / windshield to protect the tea candles mosquito repellent ! We can say that one postcard has already arrived and so it looks all should work well with the mail this year.

Anche quest’anno è venuto il momento di  godersi la notte delle stelle cadenti e quindi  della cartolina / paravento per proteggere le candeline anti zanzara. Posso dire che la prima cartolina è già arrivata e quindi anche questa volta sembra tutto funzioni.

Last postcard had a literary inspiration, this time we looked in songs for the theme of our creation. There are many songs with stars in their lyrics, one even has a hat full of stars, but the point was to wish when you see the falling star…so the inspiration came from the Oscar winning song “When you wish upon a star” from the Disney’s  “Pinocchio” (1940) that is recognized by critics and movies historians as a masterpiece of animation art.

L’anno scorso l’ispirazione era letteraria, invece per questa nuova cartolina abbiamo cercato l’idea fra le canzoni. Ci sono tante canzoni che parlano di stelle, una ha persino un cappello pieno di stelle, ma il punto era esprimere un desiderio e allora la scelta è caduta sulla canzone Premio Oscar 1940 “When you wish upon a star” dal film Disney “Pinocchio”, riconosciuto  dai critici e dagli storici del  cinema  come  un capolavoro dell’animazione.

Here you can see our latest project, a centerpiece/hanging decor in the shape of a house.

Ecco a voi l’ultimo progetto a cui stiamo lavorando. Si tratta di un centro tavola/ decorazione da appendere a forma di casa.

 

 

 

 

 

Turning on the electric candle tea lights inside you get the magical homey effect.

We are preparing a Christmas version to hang it to the chandelier in our dining room in the country.

Al suo interno trovano spazio alcune candeline ”da tè” elettriche che la rendono magica al calare della sera. Ne stiamo preparando una versione natalizia per il lampadario della sala da pranzo in campagna.

 

 

 

 

As you can see we started with a simple prototype made of scrap material to arrive to this semi- final version…a lot of work!

Come vedete dalle foto siamo partiti da un idea schematica realizzata con materiale economico per poi arrivare alla versione quasi definitiva che vedete…tanto lavoro!
