Easter egg on the sea. Un uovo pasquale marino

 

An Easter egg on the  sea, dolpkins around us while approaching the lighthouse island, in the sky a dance of seagulls and deep under all  the marine life. 

Un uovo di Pasqua sul mare, delfini intorno a noi  mentre ci avviciniamo all’isola del faro, tutto attorno in cielo un volo di gabbiani e sul fondale pesci, coralli, cavallucci e stelle marine .

The sky frames where the opaline paper will be attached.  

Tutti i telai, ai quali incollare la carta opalina, che vanno tagliati.

The 3 larger  sky frames give the chance to create a shaded colored sky using the various shapes included in the file to cut the opaline paper.

You can opt for a simpler version gluing the opaline paper directly on the egg stucture.

Le tre cornici più grandi danno la possibilità di creare un cielo sfumato usando le varie forme da tagliare in carta opalina a corredo del file. Si può però incollare senza la cornice solo la forma più grande di carta opalina.

All the frames with their opaline panels ready to be glued inside the structure.  

Tutti i telai con i loro pannelli   di  carta opalina  pronti per l'incollaggio all'interno.

At this point you must close the structure giving to it the shell shape

 and then attach the 3 bigger  frames inside.

A questo punto si deve chiudere la struttura dandole la forma a 

conchiglia e incollare le tre cornici più grandi.

It is  important that you do not glue the side 

of the last frame where the tab for the other wall 

must be inserted and glued.

Va ricordato di non incollare il lato 

dell'ultima cornice perché lì va inserita la linguetta dell'altra metà dell'uovo

There is a special section that has a small frame and a niche,

 a recess to accomodate the castle.

C'é una sezione con una cornice piccola e una nicchia dove andrà il castello.

It is important that you do not glue the upper

tab of the recess because you will put glue at its

 back when  inserting the frame.

Non bisogna mettere colla sulla linguetta superiore della nicchia

 per attaccarla all'uovo perché andrà messa

 sull'altro lato quando si mette la cornice del cielo.

Still we  need some structural pieces, the base ring

 that give strenght to the 2 shells system, and all

 the part to contain the lighting stuff.

Ancora servono l'anello che unisce le 2 metà dando solidità 

e tutta la parte che contiene la luce.

First attach the protruding octagon to the ring,

 then attach the ring to the egg passing through the door

  only at the very end when all the pieces including island and castle will be in place  the led tea light to the door to avoid having an hard time accessing inside.

Prima va attaccato il pezzo sporgente ottagono all'anello, 

poi si unisce l'anello all'uovo passando dallo sportello

 e solo alla fine, quando tutto sarà a posto inclusi l'isola e il castello, si metterà la scatolina per la tea light per evitare che dia fastidio nel processo.

You will need  the 8 smaller  decorative panels for the upper decoration, the bigger ones are for the bottom of the egg.

Serviranno 8 pannelli decorativi piccoli per l'anello più alto. Altri 8 grandi serviranno per il fondo . 

These are the pieces for the island

(you will need 2 of them all).

I pezzi dell'isola (  servono 2 di ognuno )

Will be necessary to gently model the dome while folding the tower.

Sarà necessario modellare delicatamente la cupoletta mentre si piega la torre.

The recessed panel and the back of the castle have a hole 

so the light of the tea light or a pin light from a 

led string can create some athmosphere.

Sia la nicchia che il castello hanno un buco per far passare la luce.

First you gllue the right field with the pine trees then the left one being careful not to put glue behind the trees trunks. The castle can be glued after having placed the seagulls crown ( to work freely ).

Prima si incolla il prato di destra con i pini e poi quello di sinistra avendo cura di non metter colla dietro i tronchi degli alberi. Il Castello si può posizionare anche dopo aver messo la corona di gabbiani per lavorare più comodamente.

Here the top most seagulls crown ,

with some bending effect (around a pen) to get a natural

 look and the belt with waves and boats that will cover 

the joint with the lower egg portion.

Qui la corona di gabbiani modellata con l'aiuto di una penna

 per un look naturale e poi la cintura con onde e barchetta che

coprirà il punto di unione fra le due parti dell'uovo.

The belt comes last, place the glue only on the corners and remember to leave space between blue sea and white waves to insert the sail boat .

Per ultima la cintura, da incollare solo sugli spigoli e avendo cura nel farla di lasciare fra mare e spuma delle onde spazio senza colla per inserire la barca a vela.

The details of the base.

First the stuctural pieces, the 2 halves of the egg,

 the ring and the cap at the base.

Le 2 metà  dell'uovo, l'anello  e il tappo di fondo.

Here below the sweets tray.

Il vassoio porta confetti.

This is the only piece requiring a 12 inches X 12 inches sheet, in any case

 in the file there is a version divided in 2 side pieces plus a base .

Questo è l'unico pezzo che richiede un foglio 12 X12 pollici, ma in ogni caso nel 

file è presente una versione divisa in 2 pezzi laterali più il fondo.

The decorations rings starting from the lowest.

Le decorazioni partendo dalla più bassa.

Then the sea floor.

Quindi il fondo del mare.

And the Dolphins!

E i Delfini!

The dolphins come in 3 measures , here they are alternate to obtain

 the effect you will need 4 of each. The tags of the lower panel must be

 folded before gluing the top layer!

I delfini sono di 3 misure, qui sono alternati, per ottenere l'effetto ne servono 4 per ognuna. Le linguette del pannello retrostante vanno piegate prima di incollare lo strato superiore.
